Grant Programs

The mission of Susan G. Komen for the Cure is to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures. Komen represents one of the nation's largest private funding sources for breast health and breast cancer screening, education, treatment and support programs.

In San Diego County, local organizations and individuals can apply for two kinds of grants:

Small Grant Program

We offer small grants for up to $2,000 to non-profit (federally-exempt) organizations in the following categories:

Conference $5,000
Travel $1,000 (domestic)
  $2,000 (international)

Major Grant Program

We offer major grants once a year for one-year terms:
